Here we have cropped Harry St.Clare's photo to give a close-up view to compare
with what we found on this day in October 2014. We were told that huge
petroleum fires burned through this lovely area and demolished the houses.
Today only an old wall stands that may have been part of what stood here when
Harry St.Clare was here. Today this is a pleasant small boating, fishing
and resort area with a 2 story white building housing a restaurant and bar
painted on 2 sides with its name - "LA MAISON BLANCHE".
