The cover of the brochure announcing the "The European Port of Brest Exhibition,
1914-1944" which was to run from 20 Sep to 16 Nov. On this 8th day of
October it would be open in afternoon and would be our first stop arriving back
in the City after our "YMCA Auto trip". Keith wanted to learn more of the
photo on the cover. This exposition covers the 2 World Wars plus the
period in between. According to our translation of this brochure, this
exposition "covers some little known aspects and strives to forge a link between
the city of yesterday and today's city. Photos and unpublished documents from
public and private collections are presented exclusively on this occasion."
