Taiko Drumming

Someone knew someone who invited us to a taiko drumming class "good-bye to the old year" celebration.    So, we went . . .
. . .we drummed . . .

. . . and they drummed . . .
. . . and we got silly.

. . .and then we ate.  It seems the drum teacher also owned a butcher shop.  So we had real shabu shabu (think sliced beef boiled with vegetables in a pot at the table) There were also enounmous plates of sushi.
Later the dragon came out and roared a bit.
