In the suburbs of Quimper we pull in to the parking lot of the large Amor-lux
factory with its adjacent factory outlet store.
Armor-lux is the
well known French manufacturer of quality, high-end woven garments - most
notably the woven Tee-shirts with horizontal stripes. This is considered
the classic apparel from this part of France and we sure noticed the increasing
number of stiped shirts on the streets as we came west. Now we have the
opportunity of learning more about these Breton style knits and clothes with a
distinct nautical flare. We recommend that you paste in "Armor-lux" in
Google image search for a visual treat of horizontal stripes.
