From a little up-river we get this view across the Penfeld of the dry-docks
where the ship was being repaired in H.S. Wheeler's Photo #047. Again, we
know this now thanks to the keen eyes and local knowledge of Alian and Monique.
The 2 "bassins" (dry-docks) here continue to be in active use as part of the
extensive French Naval Base.
