5th_Europe_Report -- Just a short distance from the Dinant train station, we come to this monument for
King Albert I (1875-1934) who reigned from 1909 to 1934 and included the period of World War I when "90 percent of Belgium was overrun" by Germany. As we learn more about this smaller river city, we will be introduced to the many sad and also heroic stories related to this
strategic place during World War I.
