According to Keith's rough calculations based on old and newer aerial views, this sports or parade ground might have been the approximate location of the WWI Navy Air Station barracks.  This could have been the "home" of our Harry StClare during 1917 to 1919 ... ?  CLICK HERE for what this might have looked like then.
