Time to call it a day, we head south to our rental gite
in the suburbs of Brest.
Patrick and Keith compete to get a good shot of this very-Breton round-about
bicycle sculpture. The black and white portion reflects
Brittany's ever popular
flag - the wheels with the colors of the French flag show the popular
Celtic/Breton triskele
(or triskelion) symbol. Even though it was a cold windy day, and
despite Peg becoming ill, we had an interesting day and saw much more of the
west Breton countryside. We wondered how much of this rural area Harry StClare
Wheeler might have visited during his off-duty hours..?
