A bit further along the lane, we pass this field. Over the years we have
gotten pretty good at identifying a crop. This one defied us unless it was
collards which would also be suitable for the climate and weather there, but we
didn't know for sure. The island is noted for its cauliflowers. We loved that there was the lovely view of the ocean
from the expanse of the crop rows. This is the wide English Channel to the
north of the island.
