Monique promptly pulls out her copies of old WWI photos and tells us that tower in Harry St.Clare's photo #103a was most likely located where the red and white tower now stands.  Photo #103a is the one with indications that Harry St.Clare Wheeler helped erect the earlier tower and was one of the 3 men standing at the top when the photo was taken.  Monique adds that they can see the modern tower from their home in their residential neighborhood in the western part of Brest.
