Monique promptly pulls out her copies of old WWI photos and tells us that tower
in Harry St.Clare's photo #103a was most likely located where the red and white
tower now stands. Photo #103a is the one with indications that Harry
St.Clare Wheeler helped erect the earlier tower and was one of the 3 men
standing at the top when the photo was taken. Monique adds that they can
see the modern tower from their home in their residential neighborhood in the
western part of Brest.
