amphitheater (Théâtre de Verdure) which has heavy Germanic overtones, although it was built in 1908 as an outdoor theater. It was ominously vacant this day and clouds were threatening a real
Wagnerian thunder storm. We learn later that it is currently used mostly for Namur's June Rock Festival
