05a_BanPong_Nov-Dec2008 -- Another new addition to the community are a series of outdoor public excercise machines (complet with a plaque with directions) placed throughout Ban Pong. This one is well used and has a great view of the river and is next to the Chinese temple or “spirit house.” We are told that this health promoting service is one from Yupadee's brother's municipal administration (he was elected head of the municipality a few years ago and holds a position similar to major).
