2003north_to_Bangkok_22-23sept -- Sleeping car tickets purchased and car assigned we found our private sleeping room in this modern railcar. This car, we learned, was made in South Korea. It was quite new, air-conditioned, comfortable and convenient.  If we remember correctly the tickets for this train trip were quite reasonable - around $38 US each! It would be a wait before it started its overnight trip to Bangkok. We were tired and took no more sharable photos until the next morning.
