SIGURD JOHANNES STOBEL

   Sigurd Johanes Stobel, 78, of Eureka died Wednesday afternoon in a local hospital.  He was born in Norway and had been a member of the Sons of Norway lodge in Eureka.

   Survivors include his wife, Dina Stobel, Eureka; son, Harold Stobel, Sacramento; and grandchildren, Katy, Timothy, Steven and John Stobel, all of Sacramento.

   Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Ferns, Cooper’s Mortuary, with the Rev. Roy Malde officiating.  Interment will follow at Ocean View cemetery.
