1930 US Census: Age 45, Single, living at 1506 Cottage St., Eureka (apparently living alone but next to Norwegians Harrold and Anna Lee & their 2 sons); immigration year 1914; occupation = farm laborer; Veteran = No.

1940 US Census: Age 55, Single; naturalized citizen; living alone in owned home (next to Harold & Anna Lee & their 3 sons Arthur, Bernard & Leonard); he was living in same house in 1935; Peter's occupation was "Laborer/Garden Work" & working on own account.

PETER LEE

  Peter Lee, 73-year-old former Eureka resident, died at his home in Ukiah Sunday.  He was born May 11, 1884, in Norway.  He resided in Eureka before moving to Ukiah 10 years ago.

  He was a member of the Sons of Norway.

  He is survived by a brother, Harold, Eureka, and a brother and four sisters in Norway.

  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. from Cooper Mortuary, Chapel of the Ferns.  The Rev. Otis Lee will officiate.  Private interment will follow in Ocean View cemetery.
