HUGHES, HARLEY H. – Oct. 31, 1963, 2605 Spring Street, Eureka. Husband of Mrs. Marie T. Hughes of Eureka. Father of James H. Hughes of Upton, Wyo., Mrs. Calvin Johnson of Morrison, Colo., Mrs. John Woodif of Byers, Colo., Mrs. Otto Englebrecht of Strausburg, Colo. Step-father of George C. Dysert of Eureka. Brother of John Hughes of San Jose, Mrs. Sherman Hughes of Lebanon, Ind., Mrs. Cecil Stevens of Crawfordsville, Ind., Mrs. Goldie Gugolz(?) of Lafayette, Ind. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Hughes had been an employee of the Eureka City Street Department for the last 10 years. He was a member and past president of the Sons of Norway Lodge of Eureka. A native of Swanington, Ind. Age 65. Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 5, 1963, at Sanders Funeral Home, 1:30 p.m. with Rev. James M. Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery, Eureka.
