1942 WW II Draft Registration: Age 61, born Flekkefjord, Norway; address of 1603 Pine St., Eureka, Calif.; contact person = Wm. Carlson, 423 2nd St, Eureka, Calif.; Employer = Hammond Redwood Co., Samoa, Humboldt Co.; Height 5' 11", 178 lbs, blue eyes, brown hair, light complexion.

   Bernt Jensen, 75 years of age, of 1603 Pine street, died early Wednesday morning at a local hospital.  He was born October 3, 1881 in Flekkefjord, Norway and came to the U.S. 53 years ago.  He was employed in a lumber mill and was a member of the Sons of Norway Lodge, Eureka.

   Funeral services will be held Friday zt 1:30 p.m. at the  Pierce Mortuary.

   Funeral services for Bernt Jensen will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pierce mortuary.  Interment Ocean View cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Eugene Gillis, Elxe Gillis, Norman Tonneson, John Svensen, Elmer Halseko and Gunner Gimle.
