Slooper Monument Project
fund raisers
Much of the cost of handling and setting the "bautastein" has been underwritten by the generous folks at TURLOCK MARBLE & GRANITE WORKS - financial support to have Norwegian singing star Hanne Krogh participate came from the supportive folks at the Royal Norwegian Consulate General of San Francisco - some funding support came a $600 grant from the SONS OF NORWAY FOUNDATION - Slooper family members, interested individuals and Sons of Norway lodges have provided valuable donations - yet more is needed to cover State-side expenses related to processing the stone and staging the dedication ceremony. While your attendance at Napa on May 15th is the main thing we ask of you, below are other ways you can support our endeavor. Sorry, we are NOT set up for Internet mail-order business. Unless other prior arrangements are made, items will only be for sale at the San Francisco Norway Day Festival on May 8-9 and at the Napa Monument Dedication on May 15th.
