3818. Peter GAUNT (1096). IMMIGRANT - "Peter Gaunt first appears at Lynn and then moved to Sandwich in 1637, about the same time as the Burgesses. On 7 May 1661 the court noted that Peter Gaunt had entertained two foreign Quakers. He, William Gifford and others were among the first proprietors of the Monmouth patent in New Jersey in 1665."
