Jesper is the first man documented at Inner Sikveland acording to Arneson's 1939 bygdebok for this area. He is recorded there with the wife in "hovudskatten" (main tax?) in 1645, and in 1665 is he listed to be 62 years. The the age is probably somewhat high. He got letter of credit to purchase from Elling and O. Eidland 31 Oct 1673 part of the farm (3 pail) in Litle (Little) Sikveland, which they had sold to birthright (alludial ownership) and ownership for 22 riksdaler (silver coin). He was son of Njell Olson Madland and probably born in Nordås. The name of the wife is unknown, but it is certain that he had a large family. He had at least 3 sons and 3 daughters, and possibly more. He was married. Children were:

Ola Jesperson, the elder SIKVELAND(866)
was born about 1644 in Sikveland, Gjesdal, Rogaland, Norway. He died
in 1710 in Sikveland, Gjesdal, Rogaland, Norway. The eldest born, he was married
to Ingeleive Asgautsdtr. He got public announcement of the existence of a written
contract, the deed at 1 vett 4 Mar 1681 for 40 riksdaler (silver coin). Probate
after Ola's death was held 20 Sep1710. His children were:
1. Jesper Olsen Mossige, born abt. 1685, died 1727. Probably unmarried;
2. Asgaut Olson, born abt. 1689, died 1732, married Lisbet Andersdtr. and they had at least 3 sons. He is listed as a farmer on Sikveland.
3. Torkel Olson, born abt. 1697, married in Jan 1725 to the widow of Jon Grødeim, Karen Olsdotter. They lived at Grødeim in Time;
4. Jesper Olson the younger (den yngre) He lived at Mossige --- got probably farm there after the brother. He was married 3 times: 1. Anna Tolleivsdtr., 2. Siri Andersdtr., 3. Helga Larsdtr.
5. Ola Olson, born abt. 1696, married April 1733 to Herborg Pedersdtr. Lived at Herikstad.
6. Siri, the elder, married to Reiar Kydland (?).
7. Siri, the younger, born abt. 1692, died 1732. Unmarried.
8. Boel, born abt. 1703, died 1737, married on 15 Dec 1734 to Ola Josefson Tunheim, born 1703.

Simon Jesperson SIKVELAND(867) was
born about 1652 in Sikveland, Gjesdal, Rogaland, Norway. He died in Sikveland,
Gjesdal, Rogaland, Norway. He is listed as a farmer on Sikveland. Records indicate
that he was 49 years old in 1701 with 4 sons:
1. Jesper Simonson, born abt. 1687, died at Risa in Nærbø 1748.
2. Asgaut Simonson, born abt. 1689, lived at Øgard in Klepp.
3. Simon, born abt. 1696 or later. Married Kirsti Hansdtr. Tjåland.
4. Mons, born abt. 1700.
--- Possibly Simon Jesperson also was married to a Asgautsdotter. Simon got letter of credit to purchase "åsæte" (property, residence, possessions, ??), "bunarstad" (equipment?) and "sælebotsrett" to 1 vett 10 May 1681. On 26 Feb 1685 he obtained a notarized letter of credit to purchase from Torkel Nese and O. Eidland (probably Edland) at 2 sp. in Litle (Little) Sikveland, dated 29 Nov 1682. He was juror 1712.

died in 1674. She was born in Sikveland, Gjesdal, Rogaland, Norway. She was
married to Per Monsson Kluge. She was the second of his 3 wives. Astrid and
Per had 2 children: Mons and Kari.

Berit (?) Jespersdtr. SIKVELAND(869)
was born in Sikveland, Gjesdal, Rogaland, Norway. She was married to Ola Ellingson
Edland. They had at least 3 children: Elling, Jesper and Rasmus.

Ingeborg (?) Jespersdtr. SIKVELAND(870)
was born in Sikveland, Gjesdal, Rogaland, Norway. She was married to
sheriff Torkel Johansson Nese. They had at least 4 sons: Jesper Nese, Johans
Ytre Sikveland, Lars in Holen Time, and Kristian.
