60. Shadrack ROBINSON ⁽²⁹⁴⁾ was born in Glastonbury, Hartford Co., CT. He died in ("at sea").⁽²⁹⁵⁾ Identity obtained from son Azel's death certificate, but the writing on this certificate is difficult to read. It appears that Azel's father's first name might be spelled with the letter "i" or "e" after the "d" (e.g., Shaderack or Shadirack). Other materials discovered subsequent to finding the afore mentioned death certificate give the traditional spelling of Shadrack. He was married to Eunice TENNANT on 12 Aug 1802 in Glastonbury, Hartford Co., CT.

61. Eunice TENNANT ⁽²⁹⁵⁾ was born in 1781 in Glastonbury, Hartford Co., CT. She died on 6 Nov 1869.⁽²⁹⁶⁾ Her place of birth and name appears on her son Azel's death certificate, but her last name cannot be determined for certain. Her last name ends with a "ant" with possibly a beginning letter of "T" and could be something like Tennant. If her last name was Tennant it is highly possible that the middle initial "T" of her son Azel stands for Tennant. This would also explain the name given to her great great grandson, Cushman Tennant Birch, who went by the name of "Tennant." Her 3rd great grandson, Andrew Tennant Wheeler, also carries this name. Family lore indicated that the name of "Tennant" was a family name but this name has not elsewhere been found.
Material found subsequent to the discovery of the above mentioned death certificate confirms Eunice was the mother of Azel. Children were:

30 i. Azel (or Aziel) Tennant ROBINSON.
ii. Loretta ROBINSON⁽²⁹⁷⁾ was born on 26 Feb 1809. She died in Apr 1882. Married Alfred H. Bailey (1807-1860) on 15 June 1828 and had a daughter, Mrs. Loretta A. Bulkeley, who applied for DAR membership as a descendant of Caleb Tennant in Oct 1913. Loretta was the wife of Henry W. Bulkeley and a resident of Cromwell, CT.
