South Humboldt Bay 21 Feb 2010 -- Fresh from a recent lecture on Humboldt Bay History, Keith contemplates the rail and water access of yesteryear which brought products from the
Ferndale and Eel River Valley areas across low places in the hills to the south.
The objective in those days was to find the best way of transporting goods north
to larger markets via Humboldt Bay.
