2008 Wisconsin & Illinois -- Back to just south of the town of Norway, we spend some time at the memorials placed in the “area where the first Norwegian immigrants spent their first winter in the Fox River Settlement in 1834.” It was just across the road from this spot that Cleng Peerson had his famous dream.
