05d_bats&mtn-temples -- At another “Happy Buddha” image closer to the wat's entrance we get a great panoramic view of the rural farm land below. We also get a good shot of this slightly singed stuffed crocodile. We were told that as crocks are the natural enemy of
monkeys, and monkeys can be destructive here, especially around the candle and offering places, the stuffed crocks keep the
monkeys at bay.
