Day 4 - Al Shallal Restaurant, Jezzine

.Advertised as having: The Best View in Jezzine overlooking the "Cascade"

Located southeast of Beirut and just east of the city of Sidon is the mountain resort town of Jezzine.  It was here that we had a delicious lunch after we had visited the Beiteddine Palace & had gotten lost trying to find the Chouf Cedar Reserve.

Nearing Jezzine, we stop on the road & take this shot of the blue & white restaurant where we would soon eat. The helpful outside staff here not only help you park your car, but furnish sun shields to protect cars from the heat. Our driver & Patrick at our table with a most outstanding view.

This is the view from our table to the northeast & towards some of the other restaurants perched on this cliff.

Our view to the north & up this valley.

And the view to the northwest with some lower-level development. And to our west we see other buildings perched on this high, sheer cliff. And this is an older photo scanned from the professionally done Al Shallal brochure.
