Day 8 - Barbar Restaurant, Hamra District, Beirut

Barbar is well known in Beirut & is open very late, if not all night.  A very popular & busy place.  It really is more than a restaurant - it is a "food complex" - or, as listed in one place, "Barbar Food Services."  We later learn that the official company name is "Barbar Trading Company."  It consists of at least the following: fast food takeout, a sit-down restaurant, a deli lunch counter, an ice cream/desert parlor, + ???, ... + a little grocery store that is probably not really connected to the official Barbar business. All this not far from our hotel on Rue Abdel Aziz.  Check out Barbar's online menu! --- and their attractive new web site!

Here at night, we see most, if not all of this brightly lit complex.	The entrance to sit-down restaurant is through the right side of this business.	Further down the block is the ice cream place & further, across a little side street, is the deli.
Here is the main street view of the deli during daytime.	This is the side view facing the little side street.	And right along with all of this Barbar stuff, is our favorite little grocery store.
