Co., CA. "Note by the way, your Joseph H. Beach appears on the 1840 Census
for Edwardsborough, Cass Co., Mich, with 1 male between 5-10, 1 male between
20-30 1 female between 30-40... Was Joan the only child? The 1840 Census suggests
not, but I don't know the name of the young male shown between 5-10." (E.H.

In the 1850 Census for Adamsville, Ontwa Township, Cass Co., Mich, he was listed
as age 37, "Farmer," living with his 45 year old wife, 17 year old
Marietta Ballard, and 5 year old daughter Joana. He was married to Ann Crawford
BALLARD on 12 Jan 1840.
