NOTE: Two Internet sources (Bill Osborn & Lee Osborne's "Osborne
Origins") as well as WFT Vol. 4, #1423, have Jeremy and his wife Jane
Wyborn as the parents of the Thomas Osborne that married Mary Goatly. Bill Osborn
references FAMILIES OF ANCIENT NEW HAVEN by D.L. Jacobus and other web sites.
Lee Osborne's site gives the sources of: "The Gen. Magazine of NJ",
v47 #1, and "The Osborn Family", p. 2 . However, my primary Osborn
source, Del Osborn, had Jeremy's brother John and his wife Thomasine as this
Thomas' parents. Del reported the source for his data was a relative by the
name of Charlotte (Osborn) Sadler of Utah who reportedly obtained her information
in person while visiting Ashford, Kent, England. (Keith Wheeler, Nov 1997) Later,
however, on 15 Jan 2000, Del reported that he had made an error in copying Charlotte's
data and indeed the parents of the Thomas that married Mary Goatly were Jeremy
and Jane.
He was married to Joan WYBORNE on 17 Jan 1592/93 in Ashford, Kent, England.
