He was very possibly married first in Høle in Jun 1723 to Gerete Ådnesdatter. At an older age he was married to Marete Nilsdtr. In some records dated 1758 he is mentioned with his wife and child Ivar. They had the following servants:
Joren Ivarsdatter (This must be Joren Nilsdatter)
Marite Torjusdatter (Nødland?) Was it she who married Ådnes' son Ivar?
Siri Gunlefsdatter (Svihus?)
Ingeborg Gunlefsdatter (Svihus, born 1749, baptised 20\7) He was married to Marite Nilsdtr. ØVRE OLTEDAL on 15 Jun 1734.

157. Marite Nilsdtr. ØVRE OLTEDAL (449)(450) (332) was born about 1708 in Øltedal Ovre, Gjesdal, Rogaland, Norway. She died after 1765 in Norway. Children were:
